Welcome KOZ EVENTS triathletes.

Join the KOZ Events team and race in Italy's longest running triathlon in Bardolino Italy. This event is held on the majestic Lake Garda just outside Verona. The competition will be held over the Olympic distance as follows: 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run. As part of this adventure enjoy 4 star accommodations, cycling tour, day trip to Venice and an array of scheduled morning workouts. Granfondo Cycling Tours will take care of all the details once you arrive. 20 spaces have been reserved for this event.

Triathlon Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival (Tuesday, June 06, 2017)

Arrive in Verona from the VRN airport or by shuttle from Venice. Check in and unpack for you stay. Settle in with a practice swim, run along the lake or ride through the vineyards.

Day 2: Fitness Walk / Cycling Tour

Wake up to breakfast and a morning fitness hike on the Monte Baldo hosted by our friend and favorite guide Massimo. Later a cycling tour through the Adige Valley and Valpolicella wine region. Spend the remainder of the day relaxing by the pool or taking a dip in the lake. Later in the afternoon we will do some wine tasting and have dinner out.

Day 3: Day trip to Venice

For the early risers jump in with some Pilates and light stretching. After our morning activities take the train to Venice for the day. Travel to the Island of Lido for an ocean swim and run. Take our professionally guided tour or explore on your own. Tonight's dinner will be on the canals of Venice. 

Day 4: Triathlon Expo

After breakfast we will head down to the expo and get checked in for the triathlon. Later that afternoon can be relaxing, a pre-ride of the bike course or travel into Verona for a tour of the town and famous Arena.

Day 5: Bardolino Triathlon

Day 6: Departure Sunday, June 11, 2017

Airfare Not Included

Flights and Getting to the Hotel: Fly into Verona Italy (VRN) and take a taxi to the hotel, or you may fly into Venice or Milan and Hire a shuttle to take you to the hotel right above Garda in Costermano.

Once you have reserved your tour an account will be created for you that will be used to track and update your customer information required for your tour. This will include your contact information, rider profile and various tour options. You will be able to view or update your information at any time.

Final payments: Due 3 months prior to the tour date. These can be paid by check or credit card. Checks can be sent to the address below.

Travel insurance … also known as trip insurance, is recommended for anyone traveling in a foreign country. They are relatively low cost and can protect against unexpected cancellations and depending on the company can provide additional medical coverage, property damage, theft etc. For our tours we recommend CSA Travel Protection. Cancellation Policy … In the event that you have to cancel your trip the following rules apply to regularly scheduled tours. Private tours may have additional guidelines.

  • $100 administration fee within 3 months prior to tour start date
  • 50% refund within 1 month prior to the tour start date
  • Medical emergencies are on a case by case bases
